Lloydrox Rockloyd SLABS
|
Lloydrox Rockloyd Slabs are conforming to IS - 8183 : 1993, ASTM C612, C553 and equivalent BS 3958-5 are designed for thermal and acoustic insulation of flat or slightly curved surfaces operating at temperatures up to 750º C. The robust fibers combine high levels of thermal efficiency. Approved for A - 60 class insulation.

Lloydrox Rockloyd SLABS DOES NOT SUSTAIN VERMIN GROWTH
Lloydrox Rockloyd Slabs are aesthetically engineered for a wide range of applications at both high & low service temperatures and are preferred to use on both flat & slightly curved surfaces for economics and effective insulation on thermal, acoustical and fire protection.
Lloydrox Rockloyd Slabs are widely used in industries for boilers, tanks, vessels, ovens, furnaces, bulkheads and ship deck etc. Due to its matchless performance in providing thermal & acoustical insulation & with fire-protection.
Lloydrox Rockloyd slabs are preferably used in Commercial buildings viz. Malls, Hotels, Hospitals, Multiplex, Airports, Residential Townships etc. to give better sound proofing. Lloydrox Rockloyd Rockwool Insulation provides thermal comfort to users and save energy by way of reduced electricity bills & complements the air conditioning effect.

THERMAL CONDUCTIVITY
Lloydrox Rockloyd Slabs are tested according to IS 3346, ASTM C533 & ASTM C612 to offers LOWEST THERMAL CONDUCTIVITY TO-WEIGHT ratio among all industrial insulants, thus minimizing the total load on the applied equipment. Thermal conductivity or k-value of our material does not exceed the values mentioned in the table given below.

FIRE RESISTANCE
Incombustible when tested as per ASTM E-84 & IS-3144. Melting point of Fibres is above 1000°C (1832°F)
CORROSION PROTECTION
Lloydrox Rockloyd Fibres are having negligible impurities like halides (chlorides and fluorides) and sulphides, which are commonly found in other insulation materials, as tested according to ASTM C795.
This is due to the fact that Lloydrox Rockloyd fibres are manufactured by dry manufacturing process and its faint alkanity actually fights corrosive reactions.
WATER & MOISTURE REPELLENT
Lloydrox Rockloyd Slab, by virtue of their fiber surface treatment and lay pattern, having an angle of contact exceeding 90°, resulting in good resistance to water absorption and moisture ingress. Lloydrox Rockloyd Slabs don't promote capillary action.
COMPRESSION & SOUND ABSORPTION
Lloydrox Rockloyd Slabs provides excellent sound absorption by virtue of its scientific fibre lay pattern, ensures controlled dispersion of air pockets and precise air-flow resistance.
