COLD STORE FLOOR INSULATION

A leveling concrete is applied over the reinforced concrete floor to get a smooth surface and a damp or vapor proof course is applied by torching. Product is laid loose on this surface with the shiplap joints closely butted. A second concrete floor (preferably reinforced for load bearing purpose) is then cast over the boards. After getting a smooth surface with a leveling concrete, the application is completed with an optional floor cover (mostly ceramic tiles). The floor cover can also be applied with mortar, omitting the leveling concrete.
